This time last year

This time last year Tom and I were in Michigan visiting family. These photos come from time spent at Tom’s family’s cabin, set deep into the woods about 45 minutes by car from where we grew up. I hope you’ll enjoy reminiscing with me for a bit, in the midst of all the craziness that greets us as October exits this year.

Martha, how fun for us to see those pictures, thank you! The final one sent shivers down my back—what a haunting expression and caught so poignantly—!

I may or may not have crafted this post just to have a reason to share the picture of K. Her eyes are amazing in the afternoon light. Glad you liked it too.
