I´ve loved these cookies ever since Gramma Linda taught me how to make them. By the way Martha, you´re not a wimp and I think that "Winter mint delight " is a good name for those cookies. I really understand the name.

I was making these yesterday too! I love them. I think a 1/2 Andes mint on each worked well - they are at Target in new individual wrappers (like tiny Hershey bars now come in) vs. the tinfoil folding wrapped ones in a box from Snyder's. They are larger then I remember - so I found 1/2 a mint per cookie worked well. And I used the back of a teaspoon to swirl the melted mint.

Great pictures - and thanks for sharing. We need to get the word out about these great cookies!

I knew you'd bring that to the comments! I'm just a wimp and thought it sounded cheesy. But thanks, Linda, for calling me out.

Martha, What happened to the delightful name you gave these cookies: Winter Mint Delights? They look really good in the colorful photo you put at the beginning.

Hmmm, yummy. I love chocolates and the recipe looks easy to make too. They wouldn’t last long in here with the kids around though but I know it'll be worth it. Thanks.
