Although we've not seen a snowfall here in Midland, MI we have had the frost. Last night's cold zapped my Morning Glories, thus I pulled them all out this afternoon. Juan bicycled past Dahlia Hill and the scene is blackened flowers. Luckily we drove past them yesterday for a last look at their beauty. I harvested all the remaining tomatoes from our one plant still on the patio.

I am glad we left last week because of the snow, but wished we had stayed for the food, especially that bread. I did my sourdough today as your parents are coming up to turn off the water at the cabin.
